Christmas Waste Collection 2020
With Christmas just around the corner, our team has been hard at work with our waste collection partners to produce an update for you on how your services will be affected during the festive period, and we are now happy to confirm as follows:
If your normal service day is Tuesday to Thursday then there should be no change to your current schedule, please leave your bin out as normal.
There will be no service collections on Friday, December 25th, or Friday 1st January, so if you would normally have a collection on a Friday then our collection partners will aim to complete this service within 48 hours of your collection date (either before, or afterward), rescheduling to the nearest available day.
For those whose collections fall on a Monday, we will schedule a collection within 48 hours of the original date, again re-scheduling onto the nearest available day.
If your schedule will be affected by the above changes, where possible, please make sure your bin is available for collection during the festive week. This will help our service partners to complete collections if there are last-minute priority changes.
Priority businesses
Please note: Due to Covid 19 restrictions, and the health and safety of vulnerable members of society, our suppliers have informed us that, waste collections for certain types of businesses including, hospitals and care homes will be given priority, this may mean that there will be some last-minute adjustments to collection schedules that may affect your waste collections.
