Government support – Covid-19
As you will know a number of schemes to support small businesses have been made available by the government. They include grants of £10,000 for all businesses in receipt of small business rate relief. Whilst businesses in the retail, hospitality and leisure sector are eligible for a grant of £25,000.
The Government is working to get you the details you need to access this funding, we wanted to share with you some regional resources that can help, and what information we believe you will need to provide in order to apply for the funding.
What business information will be required to access funding?
As there has been little information provided by the Government, it would be our recommendation that you have the following details to hand when making your application.
- Your Business Rates Account Number
- Your Unique Property Reference Number
- The Rateable Value of your property
- Your VAT Number
- Your Company Registration Number
- Your Occupancy ID
- Your sort code
- Your bank or building society account number
- Your e-mail address
- Your phone number
